Hard drives are coming down in price so quickly these days but you'll probably find that you need the space sooner rather than later. That's why at £99.99 for one Terabyte of disk space, this Freecom External 1TB USB 2.0 drive, might just tempt you into a purchase now. You can use this drive either on a PC or Mac - PS3 or other compatible devices too, if you want. It runs very quietly due to having no fan and has a hard drive capacity LED indicator, so you can find out roughly how much space you're using without checking on a computer. You may want to reformat the drive to NTFS, rather than the FAT-32 pre-format but other than that, this is truly plug and play.
